Welding

What is Welding?

Welding can best be described as a technique where fabric and filling are laminated together, enabling the preparation of three-dimensional patterns and unique solutions for every single furniture model.

All textiles based on man-made fibres and many of Gabriel’s standard woollen textiles can be used.

A technology used in the car industry
Welding was originally a technology used in the production of seats for cars – a well-known technology in this area, but something quite new within the furniture sector.

Gabriel’s FurnMaster has introduced welding to the furniture sector in cooperation with Fidivi Tessitura Spa of Italy bringing together technological, manufacturing, design, sales and logistics expertise of these companies.
