The EU Ecolabel is the EU's official eco-label. The EU Ecolabel guarantees health and sustainability throughout the product's life cycle - from raw materials to finished product.

In 2002, Gabriel was the world's first manufacturer of upholstery fabrics to be awarded the EU Ecolabel for a major part of its range of products.

The flower means minimisation of:

• pesticide residues in the raw material
• use and emission of hazardous chemicals in production processes
• the quantity of hazardous substances and heavy metals in the finished product
